Jurisdiction and structure of FSTEC of Russia and its collegial body

As per the Regulation for the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control of Russia (FSTEC) approved by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated August 16, 2004 No.1085, operating control of FSTEC of Russia is vested in the President of the Russian Federation.

FSTEC of Russia falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.

Structure of FSTEC of Russia:

- central office of FSTEC of Russia, Moscow;

- territorial bodies of FSTEC of Russia:

FSTEC headquarters in the Central Federal District, Moscow;

FSTEC headquarters in the North-Western Federal District, Saint Petersburg;

FSTEC headquarters in the Southern and North-Caucasian Federal District, Rostov-on-Don;

FSTEC headquarters in the Volga Federal District, Nizhny Novgorod;

FSTEC headquarters in the Urals Federal District, Yekaterinburg;

FSTEC headquarters in the Siberian Federal District, Novosibirsk;

FSTEC headquarters in the Far Eastern Federal District, Khabarovsk;

- leading scientific organization on information protection problems – State Science and Research Experimental Institute of Technical information protection problems of Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (GNIII PTZI FSTEC of Russia), Voronezh.

 

Information on collegium of FSTEC of Russia

As per Article 12 of the Regulation for the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control approved by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated August 16, 2004 No.1085 “Matters of Federal Service for Technical and Export Control”, a collegium was established within FSTEC; and its members were appointed to positions of executive officers of federal executive authorities, state authorities and organizations of the Russian Federation, in accordance to the list approved by Executive Order of the President of the Russian Federation dated December 29, 2008 No.821-rp “On the interdepartmental collegial body – collegium of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control”.

Membership of the collegium of FSTEC of Russia was approved by Executive Order of the President of the Russian Federation dated February 28, 2009 No.246-r.

Most important issues of interdepartmental character of the given field of activity are brought up at the meetings of the collugium of FSTEC of Russia.
